New Versions of Turck PT2000 Pressure Transmitter

Pressure sensors from Turck capture relative or absolute pressures in liquids and gases. The PT series are transmitters without displays, measuring from vacuum to 7,500 PSIG. Outputs include 2 wire current and 3 wire analog voltage.

The PT2000 series pressure transmitter offers excellent performance at an OEM price. The transmitter features a stainless steel measuring cell that is well suited for liquid measurement applications. The stainless measuring cell and gel filled housing inhibit liquid ingress while protecting the sensor from internal condensation common in liquid pumping applications.

The metal cell technology used in the PT2000 offers higher media temperatures, overpressure and burst pressure ratings, making it an ideal choice for hydraulic and other demanding applications.

In addition to the metric G1/4 fittings, Turck is now offering SAE #4 and SAE #6 ORB, which are commonly found in North American hydraulic applications.  The product can be purchased with an integral snubber to reduce damage caused by pressure transients in dynamic hydraulic applications.

The other improvement is in the versatility of the M12 wiring options. Turck now offers current loop wired to pins 1 and 2 making it compatible with block I/O or the traditional pins 1 and 3 for backward compatibility.
