Get improved diagnostics with Turck’s new magnetic encoder with an SAE J1939 communication interface. The J1939 protocol is based on Controller Area Network (CAN). It provides serial data communications between microprocessor systems for mobile vehicles and in intralogistics. Two interlocking bearings ensure a robust mechanical design and offer protection from vibration or shock on the shaft. It is ideal for use in mobile equipment applications such as rotational monitoring feedback, boom angle position and steering feedback. Available in Turck’s IP67-rated Industrial Line and IP64-rated Efficiency Line as 14-bit single or 29-bit multiturn encoders in 36 or 58 mm sizes.
